This week I want to share with you my favorite intuitive test. This practice will help you make heart centered choices whenever you’re faced with a big decision. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW!
This will tell you if you are acting out of fear, which is a big “no no”, or following your heart which will always guide you to the best course of action on any subject. So if you are asking yourself the question, “should I choose option ‘A’ or option ‘B’?”, you can determine which would be the best course of action by imaging your life as if you had already decided and whatever it is had already happened. Then, noticing the way you feel. If you have any of the fear symptoms, if your jaw or fists are clenched, or your breath is short, you may be making this decision on a fear based thought, and the answer is probably “no”, “not now”, or “not this way”.
But, if you see yourself smiling and happy then this would probably be a good CHOICE for you, you are doing it for the right reasons.
As someone who is very intuitive and very aware of sensations in my body, probably a result of my yoga and healing practice, I always tune into my physical senses to tell me if I am operating from a place of fear. Go ahead and give it a try! You can use this tool on work related questions, family or relationship concerns, anything! Read through the instructions for the test fully before you begin. This test can be practiced any time on any subject but will have the most noticeable results when you are inquiring about something that is very important to you.
HERE’S HOW YOU DO IT:
Step 1: Find a distraction free zone and get comfortable with a pen and paper handy.
Step 2: Determine what it is that you most need to know. Pose a question to yourself like, “what would my life be like if I made this change?”, or more specifically “how would it feel to put my house up for sale?” or “How would it feel to leave this job for that other job?” Be as specific as you can.
NOTE: allow 5-10 minutes or more. Take as long as you need to get a clear visualization without forcing an answer.
Step 3: Close your eyes and visualize your life as if you had already made the change. Imagine life as if that were already happening. Try to see everything, notice what you’re wearing, who you’re with, what types of objects are surrounding you, just go with it. Don’t try to force or change anything.
Step 4: Notice the emotion that you are experiencing as you visualize your future life. Don’t judge those emotions or think too much about them just observe what is present for you.
Step 5: Notice the sensations in your physical body. In your hands, chest, face. Are you smiling, crying, or holding your breath. Don’t alter anything you are experiencing just bear witness to it.
Step 6: Open your eyes and write down everything you experienced in each of these steps.
Step 7: Analyze. If you experienced tears of joy and saw yourself skipping around like everything was perfect then this would be a good action for you to take. If you imagined and felt yourself being upset, and felt yourself having labored breathing, or you visualized anything as being less than what you would want it to be, this probably would not be a good action for you to take at this time.
Pretty simple, right? This test helps you get real, concrete guidance about important matters and it’s one of the easiest tools that you can use to develop your intuition and discern between when you are receiving real guidance from a higher source or not. Master this technique and you can be your own psychic!
